“We’ve had a few people join the “My Creative Life” workshop late in the year and I’m thrilled they decided to take the jump. I think people get intimidated by a 365 day project, thinking that there is no other way to do it than daily. Of course, that’s not true. You can take this workshop and mold it into anything you like. Personally, I need to work things like this weekly. I work full time and take care of my Granddaughter several times a week, so it’s kind of difficult for me to carve out a specific amount of time a day to do this. Weekly, that I can manage. I also like to work on the journaling part in the evenings when I’m sitting on the couch watching TV with the hubby. We’re usually talking about our days anyway, so it’s a great time to jot down what’s been going on. It doesn’t take long, I’m already relaxing and I don’t forget anything. Later on I might transfer the journaling to something a little more “pretty,” but it’s on paper, safe and sound.
Since I snap pictures with my phone all the time when my camera isn’t handy, I always have something to share. That parts easy. So by the weekend, I’ve got all the pieces of my days ready to go into whatever format I choose. Breaking up the parts of my 365 day project, it becomes so much more manageable for me. Maybe this would work well for you too. If you’re having trouble keeping up, try it and see how it goes.”
