CREATIVE JUNCTION {BUILD A KIT} – APRIL 2012 FILES

By definition “junction” is the act of joining or the state of being joined. Creative is where the ScrapDelicious Designers come in… we get creative with design. You put the two words together and you get ” Creative Junction”. Each month we give our designers a new CJ color swatch. They use it to create paper packs, element packs, mini kits, QPs, or anything else their hearts desire. Those items get loaded into the special Creative Junction category in the shoppe at SD. The idea is you get to build your own kit using the bits and pieces from each of the designers creations. Head on over to the special section of the SD shoppe, choose any of the color swatches below that look appealing to you, click it and you’ll get to see the pieces the designers have created using that swatch. Purchase the ones you love most and build your own kit.

LIFE DEFINED (CHRISTMAS) | by ScrapALatte Designs
Introducing my newest product line, Life Defined. This first set of definitions is all about Christmas and includes 10 common Christmas themed words, defined. Each definition is shown true to size on a 12×12 paper. Each definition is also included in a brush set so you can quickly change the color of each definition to suit your project needs.  “We’ve had a few people join the “My Creative Life” workshop late in the year and I’m thrilled they decided to take the jump.  I think people get intimidated by a 365 day project, thinking that there is no other way to do it than daily.  Of course, that’s not true.  You can take this workshop and mold it into anything you like.  Personally, I need to work things like this weekly.  I work full time and take care of my Granddaughter several times a week, so it’s kind of difficult for me to carve out a specific amount of time a day to do this.  Weekly, that I can manage.  I also like to work on the journaling part in the evenings when I’m sitting on the couch watching TV with the hubby.  We’re usually talking about our days anyway, so it’s a great time to jot down what’s been going on.  It doesn’t take long, I’m already relaxing and I don’t forget anything.  Later on I might transfer the journaling to something a little more “pretty,” but it’s on paper, safe and sound.

Since I snap pictures with my phone all the time when my camera isn’t handy, I always have something to share.  That parts easy.  So by the weekend, I’ve got all the pieces of my days ready to go into whatever format I choose. Breaking up the parts of my 365 day project, it becomes so much more manageable for me.  Maybe this would work well for you too.  If you’re having trouble keeping up, try it and see how it goes.”
